Warrior Legacy: Still Family Owned and Operated

Founder Sensei Dominic Carro retired from the NYPD after 20 years of service and, together with his team, spent the last 16 years teaching children, teens, and adults Jiu-Jitsu. In 2021, Sensei Raheim, a 14 year Army Veteran who studied under Sensei Dom from the beginning, became a co-owner and the head instructor for Warrior Jiu-Jitsu.

At Warrior Jiu-Jitsu, we pride ourselves on calling our students and their parents family. Our dojo is a community of diverse individuals and families, and people remark that the “feel” of the school made their decision to join easier.

At Warrior Jiu-jitsu, we believe that martial arts training can help every child and adult develop the mental and physical skills to succeed in life. Martial arts isn’t just about self-defense; it is about self-confidence, respect, improved focus, physical strength, and positive social interactions. Warrior Jiu-Jitsu teaches our students to set goals, work hard, and follow through while having fun and making lifelong friends.

Lastly, at Warrior Jiu-Jitsu, we believe that all children are unique and capable of greatness. Therefore, we seek to provide our students with the necessary skills to be exceptional. So, again, we thank you for choosing Warrior Jiu-Jitsu. We hope to have you or your child as a student for a lifetime so that they may realize their potential and reach unimaginable levels.

“Like most things in life, we must first CHOOSE the path that we are willing to take, and then COMMIT to see the journey through until the end.”
